Life-Skills is a unique program emphasizing economic development, social sustainability, and lifestyle improvement in rural, remote, and underserved regions. Life-Skills is designed to improve the literacy and standard of living of adults in underserved areas.

The program incorporates technology, micro-economic development and adult/vocational education woven into a comprehensive package. SNN, through its partner ETS Associates, has formed alliances with a number of leading educational institutions specializing in vocational, professional certification, and adult learning programs to create a unique educational experience that allows an adult student maximum flexibility in learning.

Life-Skills’ life enhancement programs cover the basics of reading, writing, and simple mathematics; teach essential life improvement courses such as hygiene, nutrition, neonatal, and childcare; and introduce vocational education programs geared to creating jobs in the local economy. Life-Skills fulfills a fundamental need in social responsibility programs by creating life-altering experiences for people, and as a result producing positive economic and social results in the region.
